Transform Your Space with Organic Asymmetry
Welcome to Chroma & Comfort
We create harmonious living spaces through organic, asymmetrical design principles. Our services focus on balancing color, texture, and form to craft environments that feel both curated and naturally comfortable.
Unlike traditional home decor services, we embrace imperfect beauty and unexpected arrangements that tell your unique story.
Our Philosophy
We believe that homes should feel lived-in, personal, and authentically you. Through our organic asymmetrical approach, we help you create spaces that are visually intriguing yet profoundly comfortable.

About Our Organic Approach
Our Story
Chroma & Comfort was founded in 2018 by interior designer Maya Rodriguez out of a desire to move away from overly staged, perfectly symmetrical interiors. Maya believed that true comfort comes from spaces that feel collected over time — places that reflect the people who live in them. What started as a one-woman studio in a small apartment has grown into a collaborative design practice focused on organic asymmetry, meaningful color, and tactile layering.
We work with homeowners, renters, and small businesses who want interiors that are thoughtful, approachable, and quietly adventurous — rooms that invite you to linger, gather, and relax.
Our Team
Our team blends interior design, color consulting, and sustainable sourcing. We combine practical experience with a sensitivity to texture and color that helps clients create spaces that feel uniquely theirs.
- Maya Rodriguez — Founder & Lead Designer; color theory, concept development.
- Jonas Lee — Senior Designer; spatial planning and furniture layout.
- Asha Patel — Materials & Sourcing Specialist; textiles, finishes, and sustainable sourcing.
Approach & Process
We follow a collaborative, transparent process designed to yield beautiful, livable results without unnecessary complexity.
1. Discovery: We learn about your lifestyle, preferences, and the practical needs of your space.
2. Concept & Palette: We develop a color-first concept rooted in our signature palette, then translate it into materials and finishes.
3. Design Plan: We provide layout options, styling guidance, and a prioritized shopping/implementation list tailored to your budget.
4. Implementation Support: We offer in-person or virtual support as you bring the plan to life — from sourcing to final styling.
5. Follow-up: A short follow-up session ensures everything sits well and performs for your daily life.
Signature Projects
We specialize in intimate, high-impact transformations that emphasize color, texture, and a sense of ease.
- The Sunroom Refresh: A small sunroom reimagined with layered textiles, an asymmetrical gallery ledge, and a warm palette for year-round comfort.
- Open-Plan Living: Zoning with rugs, varied furniture heights, and curated plant groupings to create a flowing, lived-in environment.
- Studio Apartment Makeover: Maximizing storage and personality in a compact footprint without sacrificing softness or color.
What Clients Say
